The CaSela combines Sela’s years of experience in cajon construction with state-of-the-art production methods. This opens up completely new optical and acoustic possibilities that were not possible before. All components are “Made in Germany” with quality at the highest level. The extra strong body of 15 mm birch guarantees optimal sound development. For a pleasant, fatigue-free play feel provided by massive rounded corners made of fine maple wood and the Sela Hard Splash playing surface. Due to the design a subsequent replacement of the playing surface is possible.

The sound of the Sela Snare system can be attenuated or strengthened depending on your taste. In addition, it is easy to remove. This gives you a traditional Peruvian cajon without snare. In addition to the crisp snare sound and the differentiated bass, the CaSela has individually adjustable clap corners, resulting in more interesting sound possibilities.
