The heart of this premium instrument is the Bartolini MK Soapbar pickups which deliver powerful low and low-mids along with bright trebles. The Bartolini electronics package on the A5-Custom Z complements the natural “earthy” tone of its high end tone woods. The installed Bartolini EQ provides the perfect tailoring of the great tone.

Hipshot Ultralight Tuners and TransTone Bridge
Artisan basses come with Hipshot Ultralight Tuners(Classic 20:1 tuning ratio) that is made of cast zinc with aluminum string posts and mounting nuts which is 30% lighter than other regular tuners which delivers better balance and accuracy in tuning.
