The CaSela combines Sela’s years of experience in cajon construction with state-of-the-art production methods. This opens up completely new optical and acoustic possibilities that were not possible before. All components are “Made in Germany” with quality at the highest level. The extra strong body of 15 mm birch guarantees optimal sound development. For a pleasant, fatigue-free play feel provided by massive rounded corners made of fine maple wood and the Sela Hard Splash playing surface. Due to the design a subsequent replacement of the playing surface is possible.

The Pro version with snare lever
Unlimited sound variety – comfortable and easy. Simply push the snare lever backwards, the snare sound is already on or off. The ergonomically and technically optimal position of the lever makes a lightning-fast switch even while playing possible. When the snare is turned off, a traditional Peruvian cajon is heard, with a fine response and balanced frequency spectrum. Turning the snare back on will give you the typical Sela sound with a differentiated bass and snare sound. The sound can be attenuated or enhanced depending on your taste. It is even possible to use a second Sela Snare Traverse. In addition, the CaSela has individually adjustable Clap Corners, resulting in more interesting sound possibilities.
